믿음의 영적 무중력 세계로 진입하라

 

2021년 올 해 7월 11일 인류 역사의 새로운 챕터가 열렸습니다. 그 날은 인류 역사상 우주 관광을 한 ‘민간인 1호’가 탄생한 날이기 때문입니다. 그 주인공은 영국의 억만장자 리처드 브랜슨입니다. 그는 자신이 창업한 버진 캘럭틱의 우주 비행선 ‘VSS유니티’를 타고 고도 55마일까지 도달해 약 4분간 중력이 거의 없는 ‘미세 중력’(microgravity) 상태를 체험한 후 지구로 무사히 귀환을 했습니다. 이륙한 지 90분만이었습니다. 그는 땅에서 중력을 경험하면서 사는 삶에서 직접 ‘무중력’ 상태를 경험하는 최초의 민간인이 된 것입니다.

 

사랑하는 여러분! 우리가 믿는 믿음의 세계가 바로 이와 같습니다. 우리가 믿음이 없을 때는 소위 ‘중력’의 법칙에서 살고 있는 것과 같이 우리의 생각, 이성, 합리성 이런 것이 절대적이라고 생각합니다. 그러나 믿음의 세계는 마치 우주선을 타고 올라 갔을 때 ‘무중력’을 경험하고 거기서는 무거운 것도 가볍게 떠다니고 옮길 수 있음을 경험하는 것과 같습니다. 따라서 믿음은 때때로 사람의 생각과 상상과 경험을 뛰어 넘어 전혀 새로운 세계로 우리를 인도합니다. 마치 우주의 공간에서는 중력이 없어 무거운 것도 쉽게 옮겨지는 것과 같이 믿음의 영역에서는 겨자씨 만한 믿음으로도 산이 옮겨지며, 주님의 말 한마디에 병이 나으며, 심지어 죽은 자도 살아나는 일이 벌어지는 것입니다.

 

우리가 몰랐을 때는 태양이 지구 주위를 돈다고 생각했습니다. 소위 천동설입니다. 그러나 지금은 그것을 믿는 자는 아무도 없습니다. 지동설이 증명되었기 때문입니다. 그러면 천동설과 지동설의 결정적인 차이는 무엇입니까? 자기 중심적 사고에 갇히느냐? 그것을 벗어 나느냐? 의 문제입니다. 천동설은 사람이 철저히 자기 중심으로 생각하니 해가 자기를 중심으로 떠서 진다고 생각한 것입니다. 그러나 지동설은 자기를 벗어나 객관적으로 생각한 결과입니다. 믿음의 세계도 마찬가지입니다. 자기 중심적 사고에서는 도저히 일어날 수 없다고 생각합니다. 불가능하다고 생각합니다. 그러나 하나님 중심적으로 생각해 보세요. 안 일어날 일이 없고, 못하실 일이 없으신 것입니다.

 

그러므로 믿음은 전지 전능하신 하나님의 영역으로 나아가 ‘영적 무중력’을 경험하는 것입니다. 그러면 복음서는 무엇을 증거합니까? 바로 그 전지 전능하신 하나님이 인간으로 오셔서 믿음의 영역을 우리 삶의 현실에 열어 놓으셨다는 것입니다. 그것이 바로 하나님 나라의 말씀과 복음과 치유가 예수님을 통해 고통 가운데 있는 백성들에게 임한 것입니다. 참으로 이 놀라운 믿음의 영역에서 마음껏 살아계신 하나님의 일하심을 경험하는 저와 여러분, 믿음의 사람들이 되시기를 간절히 소원합니다. 

 

On July 11, 2021, a new chapter in human history has opened. This is because that day is the birth of the first “civilian” who performed space tourism in human history. The protagonist is British billionaire Richard Branson. He reached an altitude of 55 miles aboard Virgin Galactic's spaceship 'VSS Unity', which he founded, and experienced a state of 'microgravity' with almost no gravity for about 4 minutes before returning safely to Earth. He was only 90 minutes after takeoff. He became the first civilian to experience “weightlessness” directly in life, experiencing gravity on the ground.

 

Dear all! This is the world of faith we believe in. When we do not have faith, we think that our thoughts, reason, and rationality are absolute, just as we live under the so-called “gravity” law. But the world of faith is like experiencing “weightlessness” when you go up in a spaceship, and experience that heavy things can float and move lightly there. So, faith sometimes leads us to a whole new world that goes beyond our thoughts, imaginations and experiences. Just as heavy objects can be moved easily because there is no gravity in space, in the realm of faith, even with faith the size of a mustard seed, mountains can be moved, sicknesses can be healed with a word of the Lord, and even the dead can come to life.

 

When we didn't know, we thought the sun revolved around the earth. This is the so-called celestial theory. But now no one believes it. Because the heliocentric theory has been proven. What, then, is the crucial difference between celestial and heliocentric? Stuck in egocentric thinking? do you take it off? of the problem. The celestial theory is that people think that they are completely self-centered, so the sun rises and sets around them. However, the heliocentric theory is the result of thinking objectively outside the self. The same is true of the world of faith. I don't think that could ever happen in egocentric thinking. I think it's impossible. But think God-centered. There was nothing that couldn't happen, and there was nothing that couldn't be done.

 

Therefore, faith goes into the realm of Almighty God and experiences “spiritual weightlessness.” What, then, do the Gospels testify? That is, the omniscient and omniscient God came as a human and opened the realm of faith to the reality of our lives. That is the word, gospel, and healing of the kingdom of God came to the suffering people through Jesus. I sincerely hope that you and I will become people of faith who can fully experience the work of the living God in this amazing realm of faith.
